Natalie Tenenbaum
Pianist/Composer
Pianist, Composer, Music Director/ Arranger and Producer Natalie Tenenbaum was born in Los Angeles, CA, and raised in Israel where she began music studies at the age of 6.
Natalie received scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation as well as the Ronen Foundation. Following her Classical and Jazz Piano studies in Israel and Boston (Berklee College of Music), Natalie moved to New York City in 2003 to enter The Juilliard School on merit-based scholarships; She completed her Bachelor of Music degree in in May 2007. In 2006, Natalie toured Europe, performing with YOA Orchestra in Italy, France, Belgium, England and Germany. Following her graduation, Natalie traveled to Israel to participate in the international "Lions" piano competition where she received 3rd prize and performed with the Israel Symphony Orchestra.
Natalie Tenenbaum performs frequently in solo and chamber music engagements in various musical styles and with several different established artists. Since making New York City her home in 2003, Natalie has been busy with engagements performing at venues around the world, among which include Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, Jerusalem Music Center, solo piano performance at Carnegie Hall and most recently the Apollo Theater in NYC; She has taken part in many music festivals and performed at the US OPEN 2008-2009.
Natalie has also had the privilege of participating and working on several National and International Touring Productions, including the National tours of "Evita", "Jesus Christ Superstar" as well as the International tours of "42nd Street" and " West Side Story" (2007- 2009).
As a composer, arranger and producer, Natalie enjoys collaborating and creating music for dance, flim, and theater, as well as her own projects. She is currently working on an original recording project to be released in 2010-11. |
